For full tuning support on 2022-2024 Cummins, you typically need an HP Tuners CM2450B ECM upgrade (send-in service) or a compatible replacement ECM (e.g., from 2019-2021).

Not compatible with Cab & Chassis (C&C) or PTO-equipped trucks as those are supported on their own product (look on the AMDP site)

Note: We DO support you using a spare ECM module from another truck to send into HPTuners to unlock them and keep on your shelf for when a truck comes in. I know the checkbox makes you state that you are sending in the stock module for the truck you are working on but you can ignore that.

Instructions:

Install your HPTuners unlocked factory ECM. Your vehicle should start and run at this point.

Scan for any abnormal codes like transmission codes. If those are seen, perform a transmission relearn and then drive the vehicle. They should clear.

Install the 2018+ Ram SGW bypass cable.

• Download and Setup TDN App:
  • Search "TDN" or "Tune Delivery Network" in App Store/Google Play. Install/update to latest version.
  • Create/sign in to HP Tuners account.
  • Link to AMDP using our invite code: MNFS-4601
  • Go to Tools → RTD+ / MPVI First Time Setup (or similar). Follow prompts: Plug device into OBD-II, enable Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, pair, sync (keep internet connection).
• Initial Read (Stock File):
  • Plug interface (with bypass cable if needed) into OBD-II port.
  • Ignition ON (engine OFF; for push-button, press start without brake).
  • In TDN app: Flash → Read Vehicle.
  • Follow prompts. The app uploads the stock read to the tuner/cloud. 
  • Email sales@amdieselperformance.ca with your AMDP Order number as the subject line. Notify the tuners that your stock read has been uploaded. Most tune files are received back the same business day.
• Receive and Flash Tune:
  • AMDP will send back modified file(s) — you'll get a notification/email. It appears in the app (use Sync Files if needed). You will see a file named "Restore" that is your stock read you can use to recover or flash the truck to stock at any time.
  • Plug interface into OBD-II, ignition ON (engine OFF).
  • Flash tab → Select vehicle/tune file → Long-press and choose Full Write (or Write Entire).
  • Follow prompts: Confirm connections, keep app open, do not disturb.
  • Process takes 5-15+ minutes. Vehicle may beep, lights flash — normal.
  • After success: Turn ignition OFF, wait, then ON again as prompted. Clear DTCs via app 2X.
  • Test drive and monitor.
